The mission of the Department of Business Studies is :
To prepare students for careers of leadership and service in the private and public sectors in Hong Kong and associated economies
To provide teaching in Business Studies with a particular emphasis on Economics, Financial Services, Law and Marketing, with a focus on Hong Kong and China Business Research has a high priority in order to maintain the vitality and relevance of teaching and to address the needs of relevant constituencies in the regions Other forms of scholarly work and consultancy are also engaged in order to maintain contact with the business community and to encourage the development of relevant faculty knowledge and skills
