The first accounting program in New England to receive separate national accreditation by the AACSB, the international association for management education. Accreditation is awarded on the basis of meeting or exceeding quality standards on curriculum, faculty, administration, degree requirements, library and computer facilities, financial resources, and intellectual climate.
The Department of Finance provides students with the knowledge and skills required in a wide range of finance-related fields such as: corporate or business finance, financial management in government and not-for-profit organizations, financial planning, investments, banking, insurance, real estate, public accounting, and health systems.
