Indiana State University,Department of Economics

  Indiana State University recognizes its mission and embraces its role in educating students to be productive citizens and in making the knowledge and expertise of its faculty available and accessible.     policy analysis (from a micro perspective)

    Dr. Bob Guell

    Research Interests:  Writing textbook (Issues in
    Economics Today 3rd edition) and various supplements;
    using econometric techniques to determine the
    effectiveness of Learning Communities and Residence
    Hall programs on student success for First Year
    Programs; Forensic Economics:  Consulting work and
    research on Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Wrongful
    Termination, Medical Malpractice.

     Dr. Debra Israel

    Research Interests:  Environmental or public policy
    issues with a particular focus on developing countries. 
    Specifically my recent research examines:  Demand for
    environmental protection in both developing and
    industrialized countries and household use of water and
    fuel in developing countries ( particularly in Bolivia).
