The economics major is designed for those students who are interested primarily in business, but at the same time have a desire to understand the more advanced tools of economic analysis. This background is excellent preparation for a wide variety of careers, but especially in corporate research and planning, as well as careers with government and regulatory agencies, for graduate study in business and economics, and for law school. The international economics and business concentration covers global aspects of economics and business. It prepares you for a broad range of careers in business, including management, marketing, and finance.
