The Department of Economics offers undergraduate programs leading to the B.A. or B.S. degree and graduate programs leading to the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. The department has 17 faculty, about 50 undergraduate majors, and about 45 graduate students. The research interests of the faculty include development, international, labor, regional economics, and econometrics, industrial organization, monetary theory and policy.
