The Department of Economics offers two undergraduate programs in economics: a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) through the School of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) through the College of Arts and Sciences. We also offer a Minor in Economics through Arts and Sciences.
As an Economics major in the School of Business Administration, you will take courses in the areas of accounting, finance, management, management science and marketing in addition to economics courses. In the School of Arts and Sciences your core courses will include English and foreign language courses in addition to the common core courses in English, History, Social Sciences, Philosophy and Theology which all students take.
Whether you choose the Business School or Liberal Arts division should be dependent on where your academic interests lie, as well as what you intend to do when you graduate.
The department also offers a concentration in Economics for an MBA degree through the Graduate School of Business.
