U.S. News & World Report has ranked Lycoming College number 12 among regional liberal arts colleges in the north. The College was ranked number 5, however, in the "best value" category.

Lycoming ranked 9th in the category of academic reputation and 6th in overall faculty resources.
Room for improvement? Lycoming ranked 29th in financial resources and 25th in alumni giving.
