The faculty of the Department of Business Administration have proven to be highly qualified and wholeheartedly dedicated to academic excellence, as demonstrated by the following emphases which have been developed by the department.
Creation of Academic Programs that Meet the Demands of the 21st Century: The Department of Business Administration has committed itself to creating relevant and rigorous academic programs that respond to the needs of the modern world and the complex changes that are taking place. The department is, and has proven willing to adapt curriculum to meet requirements of a dynamic business world. This is evidenced, for example, by the implementation of the International Business Minor for the Fall 1996 semester.
Enhance Teaching and Learning: The Department of Business Administration has committed itself to improving the teaching skills of the faculty and the learning abilities of the students. The department will work continually to improve and enhance the quality of the educational experience. The ability of the department to continue to provide quality instruction is dependent upon the degree to which faculty stay up-to-date and proficient with the latest information, techniques, and applications. The Department of Business Administration has been very successful in this effort with every faculty member involved in some type of faculty development exercise during the 1996-1997 school year.
