Economics Department
The Department of Economics offers M.B.A. and doctoral programs that combine strong analytic training in economic theory with practical business concerns. Moreover, our course offerings are relevant to students with interests in any field of study. The interactions with other disciplines are very strong. We feel, therefore, that the Department of Economics provides valuable training for all Stern School students.
The Economics Department at Stern is fortunate to have a very distinguished faculty. In addition, the Department prides itself on the quality of our teaching and a number of faculty members have received teaching awards from both Stern and the University.
The Economics Department is an impressive research community with strong intellectual interactions with faculty and students throughout the Stern school. We welcome and invite student participation in all of our activities.
