The Department of Accountancy, Business, and Economics strives for excellence in preparing students to become competent Christian business leaders, by fostering their commitment to Jesus Christ and the highest moral and ethical values, and by equipping them with the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to a foundation for future professional development.
The program is therefore designed:
to provide an environment which assists and guides students in spiritual growth and encourages the development of strong Christian values;
to provide a learning environment highly attentive to ethical issues in each topic of study;
to provide students with a variety of educational choices in business, accounting, economics, management information systems, and industrial psychology;
to provide an environment that stimulates student learning and critical thinking through innovative teaching methods;
to provide strong quantitative components so that students are adequately prepared for graduate study;
to provide opportunities for students to meet and network with Christian business persons who have the highest level of integrity and superior business experience;
to provide diverse opportunities for students to experience real world business;
to stay abreast of the rapidly changing business world so that the training students receive allows them to compete effectively;
