The economics major combines scientific, theoretical, and social perspectives in the study of how societies produce, distribute, and consume goods and services. It also includes actual and practical applications to ensure that students are prepared for entry-level positions and for graduate studies. This major leads to a bachelor of arts degree.
The full degree program requires the completion of at least 120 semester hours, including General Education 2000, the Writing Requirement, the Mathematics Competence Requirement, electives, and the Department Requirements as follows:
