The International Conference for the Integration of Sci & Tech into Society (ICISTS-KAIST), the HPAIR-KAIST annual international conference is a collaborative effort of undergraduate students of KAIST and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Korea to promote discourse on critical science and technology issues affecting modern society.
Workshops: The conference program will be run simultaneously by the three workshops:
I. Online Culture: From Anything to Everything
II. Paradigm Shifts in Biotechnology: DNA, Human Cloning, and Beyond
III. The Next-Generation Lifestyle: Ubiquitous Computing & Robotics Technology
Of the theses submitted with conference applications (Call for Papers - optional), superior theses will be selected and published. Selected theses will be edited, and published for the public to view.
Eligibility
Conference Fee
Participants will be charged $200 USD (US Dollars) (For Korean applicants this amounts to 200,000 Won). This fee includes accommodation and transportation during the conference dates but does not include airfare. The conference fee will be collected during registration on March 22, 2005.
