西南财经大学经济与管理研究院将于2011年3月17日（星期四）在光华校区经管楼305教室举行“应用微观经济学国际研讨会”(RIEM International Applied Microeconomics Workshop)，来自加拿大女王大学、加拿大国家统计局和世界银行的四位专家教授和经管院的五位老师将报告各自学术论文，内容涉及发展、劳动、教育、交通、卫生等众多领域。来访专家教授还将在周四和周五和经管院师生一起交流研讨经济问题。

Weili Ding，加拿大女王大学政策研究学院和经济系副教授（终身教职），加州伯克利大学访问学者，美国匹兹堡大学经济学博士，主要学术研究兴趣：教育经济学、公共经济性、健康经济学、中国的农村发展和城市转型。论文广泛发表在Review of Economics and Statistics， Journal of Health Economics, 《经济研究》、《中国社会科学》等国内外一流学术期刊上（http://post.queensu.ca/~dingw/）
Steven Lehrer，加拿大女王大学政策研究学院和经济系副教授（终身教职），加州伯克利大学访问学者，美国国民经济研究局研究员，美国匹兹堡大学经济学博士，主要学术研究兴趣：健康经济学、教育经济学、计量经济学、实验经济学。论文发表在Review of Economics and Statistics， Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Econometrics, American Political Science Review等国际一流学术期刊上。（http://post.queensu.ca/~lehrers ）
René Morissette，加拿大国家统计局社会分析司助理司长，加拿大蒙特利尔大学经济学博士，在劳动经济学、公共政策和计量经济学方面著述颇丰，已发表学术论文、研究报告等50多篇。
