1. Markets editor (金融市场频道编辑)
Position Description:
The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for content related to global and Chinese financial markets on CWSJ.
This is an opportunity for an experienced and energetic editor with strong financial markets background to work on one of the most important sections on CWSJ, the fast growing Chinese-language website of The Wall Street Journal.
The editor will be responsible for expanding the markets section. The editor will edit staff and contributing writers, reach out to outside contributors, and, more importantly, determine how the CWSJ markets section should develop and execute that vision.
This job requires strong news judgment, a deep understanding of the markets and a sharp sense of what works online and what Chinese investors are interested in.
Position Requirements:
Candidates should have at least three years of financial markets reporting or editing experience, preferably in online journalism too. Strong editing skills, comfort with the online environment and great work ethics are critical to the success of this position. Candidates should also demonstrate intellectual initiative and self reliance combined with strong teamwork skills.

2. Web editor (网络编辑)
Position Description:
The editor will publish text, photo and video content on CWSJ and write/edit headlines and summaries when necessary. The job requires strong news judgment, comfort with new technologies and a sharp sense of what works online. This is not a job for writing or editing stories. It’s about presenting news and multimedia content in the most creative yet straightforward way.
Position Requirements:
Candidates should have at least two years of online journalism experience and should be familiar with HTML language, photo shop and other web editing tools. Strong communication skills, comfort with business and financial language and a creative impulse in publishing are a must. Candidates must also demonstrate capacity for hard work and accuracy under pressure.

3. Senior translator (资深翻译/校对)
Position Description:
Chinese.wsj.com is looking for a senior English-to-Chinese translator/copy editor. The position involves translating WSJ and other Dow Jones' English language business and financial market news into Chinese, proof-read and edit translated articles from other team members.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, finance or economics.
- Good understanding of the global financial markets.
- Excellent reading comprehension of English and great command of written Chinese.
- Ability to work under constant deadline pressure.
- Good at writing snappy headlines.
